Just in time for year history of the civil war iPad 3D brings the past alive. If you have a pair of 3D anaglyph glasses (red and blue species) at hand, is even better.
There are two dozen pictures to view 3D anaglyph black and white. 3D images were taken with cameras with two or four glasses of a stereoscopic effect. These 3D images surprised me, and I think $ 0.99 for the application is worth it for this bit of history.
The interface is very good, is basically a book of stories you can go. View photos and press to reveal the story behind the images. The 3D images created in the performance of this application are given free from the law at the Library of Congress.
You must find your own 3D glasses at this stage, but there will be links to stores that sell them on the support website shortly. I recommend the observance of this period of our history with a new look at the actual events of the civil war. Check out a trailer on YouTube, and more pop to the App Store for your copy of the story in 3D.
