This is a residential college for kinesiology majors, but you can only say that it's "Rockin '".

Six floors of the Plaza de Taylor, RCKIN is a house for students in kinesiology. The program is designed to help students make the most of their first year at ASU.

Residential college program in its first year, was designed to create a recruiting community-based health, said the students specialized support Sara Christenson.

"(The program is designed) to help facilitate the university foundations and create social relationships so that students are happy with their quality, retention in grade and ultimately learn about what to make health future professionals, "said Christenson.

RCKIN is part of the efforts of the kinesiology program in recent years to better prepare students for higher education. Most joined the School of Nursing and Health Innovation in 2010 and moved to the downtown campus this year.

Last year kinesiology major found its new home at school for the Promotion of nutrition and health and joined the School of Nursing and Health Innovation. Freshmen began taking courses on campus this year.

"The residential community will allow us to create a sense of unity," says Professor of Kinesiology Tannah Broman.

RCKIN like many other residential communities already on campus, as Cronkite Village and Barrett, the Honors College, which offers its residents a network.
